Hi, I’m Jade, Founder and Director of Middleton Executive. Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I hope you found what you were looking for. If not, please drop me a line directly, I’ll be only too happy to help.
For those who do not yet know me, I wanted to share a little about who I am and why I established Middleton Executive. Firstly, I’m London born, globally raised and living the Aussie dream in Melbourne. After graduating from university with a degree in International Politics, I landed my first job as a recruitment consultant in my home town. Yes, I too have been on the candidate side. I was blown away by the help and advice I received from my recruitment consultant (I’m still friends with her today). After this experience I thought to myself, I too would love to help people achieve their dream job and get one step closer to the life they’ve always wanted. I stayed with that company for five years before moving into Human Resources. After completing my Masters in HR and Employment Law, I picked up the wanderlust bug and set off on my merry travels to Australia. The plan was to stay in Melbourne for six weeks. Many years later, I’m still here and wholeheartedly call it home.
Having worked with world leading recruitment agencies, I’ve learned a lot and have been fortunate enough to work with iconic organisations embarking on digital transformations. These relationships set the foundations for Middleton Executive. I believe in honesty, transparency and commitment. If these are the guiding principles in all your relationships, both professional and personal, you can’t go far wrong.
Why do I call it executive search and not recruitment?
That’s simple. Recruitment implies volume and traditional recruitment strategies. Middleton Executive is a specialist agency dedicated exclusively to Product & Technology. Each project we’re engaged on is run according to our signature search and selection process. I love technology and the way it is improving people’s lives every day. I feel connected to the great things that are happening around me because I am involved in helping organisations find these super smart people to build phenomenal products.
My work-life philosophy
Too often I find people taking themselves too seriously. Life is short and should be lived to the full. One should work to live and not live to work, but that doesn’t mean you can’t love what you do. Having a healthy work-life balance is paramount to this. Ask anyone who knows me, I absolutely love my career, but I love life too!
Outside of work, you’ll likely find me on my yoga mat, meditating or exploring the best breakfast cafés Melbourne has to offer.
